Pink and orange Swarovski crystals dazzle as they seemingly drip past silver wire down this stunning necklace.  If you can make wire loops you’re ready for this project.  Headpin wires, crystals, silver beads and a clasp are all that stands between you and a necklace fit for a celebrity.

Directions

step 1 - The components of this necklace consist of a silver bead, a bicone crystal, and another silver bead stacked on 1.5” long headpin wires. Two separate strands of beads are connected for the finished necklace.

step 2 - Save time and eliminate handling tools repeatedly by stacking the beads on the wires, and creating the loops in advance. You will need 33 wires for one strand of the necklace, 28 for the other and one special connector which will be explained later.

step 6 - Continue linking the wires alternating pink and orange until you have 33 beads. Attach a jump ring to the loop of the last wire you connected, which will be an orange bead.

step 7 - Begin another strand, starting with only one pink bead wire. Continue alternating two orange, two pink, etc. Link wires until you have a total of 28 beads.  Attach a lobster clasp to a jump ring and the jump ring to the last looped wire which will be pink.

step 8 - With a piece of wire, create a connector to link the two strands of the necklace. Form loops on both ends of the wire after slipping on two silver beads separated by a pink bead. The wire should be the same length as all the others in the necklace.

step 10 - If the pull on the last pink bead wire prevents it from laying flat, bend the loop at a 90 degree angle.
