Whether you are gearing up for July 4th holiday celebrations or you just like stars, these festive earrings dangle and sparkle enough to show your true spirit. The stars and rings are from my local Joanns store. The brand name is one I've never seen before called Hildie and Jo. Their line includes lots of fun components like these quality star shapes. This is a simple and inexpensive wire wrap project you can complete in an evening.

Directions

step 1 - Cut a piece of wire to measure 10”. Place a mark 2.50” from one end with a Sharpie. Marks can be removed later with alcohol.

step 2 - Slip on a round bead and a star. Holding the bead at the mark, insert the shortest end of the wire through the bead.

step 3 - Pull the wire through the bead creating a small loop holding the star.

step 3 - Pull the wire through the bead creating a small loop holding the star.

step 4 - Place a mark 1 7/8” from the round bead.

step 5 - Slip on another bead and star. Hold the bead 1 7/8” from the first bead. As you did in step two, insert the end of the wire through the bead then pull the wire through creating a small loop for the star.

step 5 - Slip on another bead and star. Hold the bead 1 7/8” from the first bead. As you did in step two, insert the end of the wire through the bead then pull the wire through creating a small loop for the star.

step 6 - Repeat step five with the remaining wire. You will have three stars and beads on the wire with a 1 7/8” space between each bead.

step 6 - Repeat step five with the remaining wire. You will have three stars and beads on the wire with a 1 7/8” space between each bead.

step 8 - Pull the remaining wire and beads through the ring, wrapping it around five times until the next bead is against the ring. Hold the bead to the ring as you wrap the wire.

step 9 - When all three beads are in position wrap the tail wire around the ring five times. Cut off excess wire and smooth the ends. Remove the Sharpie marks.

step 9 - When all three beads are in position wrap the tail wire around the ring five times. Cut off excess wire and smooth the ends. Remove the Sharpie marks.

step 10 - Connect the small ring to the large one with a jump ring. Attach an earring wire to the small ring to complete this project.
