Solo Cream Pearl Pendant

necklace measures 18"

necklace measures 18"

A single, sizable, creamy pearl, 12mm to be exact, is braced in silver to create the focal point of this unique pendant.   Attach it to the chain of your choice or make the one pictured. Instructions for it are included at the bottom of the page.  Half round wire wraps the pearl securely in place then crosses over itself resulting in compelling, fashionable lines.   And all that shiny silver at the bottom of the pendant? - nothing more than jump rings.  They reflect off the bottom of the pearl for a very interesting effect.  This project offers so much appeal for so little investment of time and money.

The Solo Cream Pearl Pendant has been featured in the AllFreeJewelryMaking Pearl Jewelry eBook.

Directions

The Chain I attached an interesting chain to this pendant that I found at Michaels.  When I got the chain home from the store, I examined it closely to see how it was made and discovered I could have done this myself.  The core is simply 5mm jump rings in what I’m guessing is 14 gauge.  To make the chain, attach the 14 gauge rings to each other to create the length you need.  Then attach a 5mm 18 gauge ring to each of the 14 gauge rings.
