Six Stripe Peyote Stitch Bracelet

Peyote stripes take on a bit of glamour when they are made with crystal lined Delica beads. Clean, shiny lines create a contemporary vibe that shapes around the wrist like a soft cuff bracelet. If you’ve hesitated to try the Peyote stitch because it looks too complicated, you’ll find the color grouping presented here, make this pattern quite easy to follow.

step 8 - As you can see, you begin each row with a silver bead and then add beads between the dropped beads. The added beads should be the color of the bead above it.

Continue adding rows for the length bracelet you need. My bracelet measures 6.50” long and used 52 beads for each stripe.

step 9 - Attach the clasp by first adding 11/0 crystal seed beads between the drop beads to even out the bracelet edge.

step 9 - Attach the clasp by first adding 11/0 crystal seed beads between the drop beads to even out the bracelet edge.

step 10 - Move across the seed bead to the 8/0 beads of the bracelet edge, passing through the loops of the clasp and going back through the 8/0 beads. When you get to the end, go back through again to reinforce the connection. Work your thread through beads in the bracelet with half hitch knots then cut off excess thread.
