Lopsided Wire Heart Pendant

Copper and silver combined in one pendant? Why not! While fishing through my jewelry stash I happened to notice some some curls of wire in both colors tangled together. That was the simple inspiration for this project - that and the challenge of coming up with a design I would like for Valentine’s Day. This is an easy pendant to make for any occasion. Just gather your various jewelry pliers and cutters and follow the steps below. The copper wire spirals are wound on wood skewers then slipped onto the silver wires before they are shaped. A lopsided heart surrounded by curls make this project unique.

Directions

step 1 - Wrap copper wire around a wood skewer eight times leaving a .50” tail on both ends. Create four of these spirals.
