Loden Mother Of Pearl Earrings

When I was a teen I made myself a loden green wrap skirt which was lined with an autumn leaves print fabric. I wore it until it was nearly threadbare. The loden green color appealed to me then and it still does. I bought a bunch of these Mother Of Pearl ring beads long ago, not knowing what I would do with them. They intrigued me because they change colors in an instant, from green to grey, to blue. The time is right for these pretty shells to finally come out of my bead drawer for this design. I don’t have to wonder where the idea came from. They say that our creativity draws on our experiences and like my teen skirt, the color and elements of these earrings are a good example of that theory. The leaf wrapped loden green shell rings make a lovely pairing with the single white pearl in these super easy earrings. Make them in less than an hour, wear them tonight.
