Lighted Haunted House

Here it comes again, the spookiest night of the year. Michael's store has made it easy to decorate with many clever products. Loving lighted projects as much as I do, I was instantly drawn to this one from the company - ArtMinds. The LED light is built into the back of the plain wood frame. Just add paint and a little vellum paper to create the right tone. I added the vellum because using the frame as is, resulted in a naked light that was more glaring than I wanted. Vellum softens the light and adds a little foggy atmosphere, the kind you see in many frightful movies. I chose this particular silkscreen for the Black Ice paint because it gives the impression an ugly growth is taking over this house. AAAAGGGHHHH! You will find this lighted product on Michael's website but they do not sell it online. Once there, you can check availability for this product at a Michael's store near you.
