How To Make July 4th Decorations

Indoors or out, this compact hot air balloon is bound to light up the atmosphere. Place it on a party table indoors or feature it on a party patio table. I've done the design work for you. Just print on card stock and cut. Instructions are included for craft knife users as well as Silhouette machine users. The LED battery operated light guarantees placement anywhere. Just insert it into the center of the balloon panels. Position the project near a wall and watch the stars reflect, creating fun designs. Oh beautiful indeed!

step 1 - Note that there are two different designs for the balloon panels. One includes the words "home of the free because of the brave". The other has no words.

Step 2 - CK - You can choose to alternate both designs for your balloon or use only one for all the panels. Print eight panels on card stock and cut them out. Do not punch out the stars until step six. (Stars shown here are not printed on your template.)

step 3 - SC - Print two cut file pages for a total of eight panels. Do not remove the registration marks. Arrange each printed page on the cutting mat and send it to the machine to cut. You should have four of each panel design. Remove the panels from the mat

step 6 - SC - Match the star holes of a panel without words with the glued edge. Press the two together and use a clip to hold it until the glue dries. Continue gluing and connecting one panel edge to another, alternating the panel designs. Star holes will not match if two of the same panel designs are glued together.
