Gold Inlay Pendant

pendant measures 1.75"

pendant measures 1.75"

Gold glitter clay and deep Alizarin Crimson team up for a stunning contrast in this easy to make pendant. A template is included with the instructions so you can make the image stamp with my celtic design. You can also use a stamp you own for this pendant. Just be sure the design is raised up off the stamp to give a deep clay impression. Once you buy or make the stamp, the steps for completing this project are simple. Bake it in your oven this afternoon, wear it tonight!

Before you begin, condition clay.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Setting numbers vary on clay conditioning machines.  On my machine the thickest setting is 1 and the thinnest is 9.

Directions

step 1 - MAKING THE STAMP With a craft knife or stencil cutting machine, cut the celtic design. You will need three copies cut from card stock. Apply Elmer’s Extreme glue stick to two of the stencils and stack the three, matching all the cut spaces.
