If you celebrate Chinese New Year or Valentine’s Day you will have an enticing pop of red color with this necklace. The sparkling crystals round the clay circle in an eye-catching pattern. The beautiful thing about this necklace besides the look of it, is you don’t have to have special talent to create it. If you can stick a stamp on an envelope, you can make this project in a half hour. The crystals are a one-piece peel and stick design that adheres securely to the polymer clay disc.

Before you begin, condition clay.

IMPORTANT NOTE - Setting numbers vary on clay conditioning machines.  On my machine the thickest setting is 1 and the thinnest is 9.

Directions

step 1 - Condition one ounce of Pomegranate clay.  Roll it on a #1 setting of the conditioning machine.

I learned about Mark Richards crystal stickers recently at the CHA show. I’ve seen crystal stickers before but none that were as delicate and detailed as these.  The designs are gorgeous and the clear mounting material almost completely disappears when applied to a variety of surfaces.  While I have not been able to find the style of sticker I purchased at CHA (#9102), I did find several other beautiful stickers by this designer listed on this web page. If you run across the sticker I used, please share your source with me so I can post it for my readers.
