Diamond Duo Silver And Black Bracelet
I often think about my first beading projects and how overwhelming they seemed. Most of them were woven designs that required some experience and lots of patience. This is not that kind of project. No matter how involved this bracelet looks, it's incredibly simple to create. It's not so much a woven project as it is a "stringing project". You keep adding beads from one end of the thread. When you've added all the beads you need, you start adding beads moving in the opposite direction. With the exception of a few half-hitch knots, that's about it. If the knot term intimidates you, check out my Beadology page and see how easy they are to create. This glossy Diamond Duo (each bead has a hole at the top and bottom of the diamond) is worth the effort. The bracelet's contemporary design and colors blend with almost any clothing. Although I've been beading for a long time, I've never tried the Diamond Duos. Their unique shape gives me so many design ideas. I have a feeling they will be an element in many of my future projects.

step 11 - Move the needle through the beads to create a half hitch knot. To reinforce the clasp connection, move back out to the clasp. Pass through the Delicas and clasp. Bring the needle through the top hole of the end BDB. Work through the beads to create two or three half hitch knots. Cut away excess thread.
step 12 - To finish the opposite edge of the bracelet, add a needle to the tail. Insert it into the bottom hole of the SDB. Add a Super Duo and continue doing so across the row just as you did in step three. At the end of the row add three Delicas and move across the work adding two Delicas between the Super Duos. Add three Delicas after the last Super Duo. Move the needle into the bottom hole of the last SDB. Work through the beads to create half hitch knots.
