Cheers To The 4th Glasses
Celebrate the Fourth or any other patriotic day in personalized style with these red, white, and blue sparkling glasses. A common question is, “Can I wash them?” These are not simply decorative. You can bake the acrylic paint in the oven for a permanent design that can be hand washed without harming the paint. Read the directions for baking on Martha Stewart’s page. Because the paint is made for several application techniques, it is heavier than the paint normally applied for airbrushing. But it can be used for airbrushing if it is mixed with acrylic thinner until it is the consistency of milk. Whether you airbrush or apply with a sponge or other tool, have fun with this project!
COVER EXPOSED AREAS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OVER SPRAY. ALLOW PAINT TO DRY BETWEEN STEPS.
step 4 - Airbrush the two red stripes, then the white one.
The glasses used for this project are not fine crystal. Be sure the glasses you use can be baked in the oven.
