STARS & STRIPES TEE
step 4
DIRECTIONS
1.Download and print out the stencil on card stock. Cut out the grey areas using a craft knife. As an option, you can use a shaped punch to cut out the stars. We used both a small and large punch.
2.Turn all the pieces over and spray with repositionable stencil spray.
3.Iron a light crease in the shirt front to mark the vertical center.
4.Align the stencil page’s center front line with your shirt center. Press to adhere the stencil to the fabric.
5.Like making a puzzle, place all the remaining pieces in their proper position on the shirt until the stencil is reassembled.
6.Leave the stars in tact and peel away the other grey areas. Cover the entire star section so that red paint doesn’t accidentally get between the replaced star edges.
7.Protect all areas that will not be painted red. Air brush red paint on open areas.
8.When the red paint is dry, cover all but the star section. Remove the star pieces and paint the blue stars.
9.Follow the directions on the paint container for drying and heat setting the paint.
10.Using an iron, adhere hot-fix red rhinestones to the heart outline, centering the stones on the line.
