TIPS & SHORTCUTS

- Oversized, or heavy beads and charms move around too much when the glass is used and can create unwanted noise.  Look for lightweight, smaller jewels.

- Surprise your friends with initial charms on their wineglass jewelry so they can use them each time they visit.

- Bead and charm prices are not included with the final total for this project because the number needed will depend on their size and quality.

How To Use A Double Crimper Tool

              1                        2                      3                        4

Step 1 - Place bead in bottom notch.

Step 2 - Squeeze handles so that the protrusion on the right, creates a crimp in the bead.

Step 3 - Place bead in top notch, rotating 90 degrees as shown.

Step 4 - Squeeze handles causing the bead to fold inward.

  1. 3.Slide the bead up snug to the loop of the clasp and secure using a bead crimper tool. (see how to use a bead crimper tool below)

  2. 4.Cut the excess cord away from the crimp with sharp scissors or a blade.

  3. 5.String beads and charms onto the cord.

  4. 6.Finish the strand by threading the cord into another crimp bead and repeating steps 2 - 4.
