BLING FOR YOUR TABLE

RIBBON AND CHAIN

NAPKIN RING

DIRECTIONS

1. Measure and mark a piece of chain at 4.5”. Use two sets of pliers to pry apart a link and separate the 4.5” section from the rest of the chain.

  1. 2. Open the link by holding one end stationery and pushing the other end away. Never pull a link or jump ring out sideways to open it. It will lose it’s shape.

  2. 3. Cut a 12” piece of ribbon. Starting with the center of the ribbon at the center of the chain, thread the ribbon through every other link in the chain. The ribbon tails on each end should be equal in length.

4. Attach half of the magnetic clasp to the last link of chain on one end, using a jump ring. Once the magnet is attached, attach the other half of the magnet to the other end of the chain in the same manner.

6. Using a jump ring, attach the heart charm to the last chain link on one end.

7. Smooth out the ribbon ends and cut them on a diagonal.

8. Wrap the finished chain around a napkin with the two magnets connecting on the front side of the napkin.  Overlap the ribbon tails, bending one in a downward direction and the other horizontally.
