WINE BOTTLE LABELS
Surprise!
Your friends’ name and picture on a wine bottle.
Use your creative talents to design a one-of-a-kind treat for your friends. Give a bottle with a personalized label to your favorite couple on their wedding anniversary. Include their name and their photo on the front, above the words “aged to perfection”. Or maybe you need labels for your own party, with images and words that suit the theme? Having a Broadway Musical theme party? How about a label with top hat & glove images? Or musical notes? A Sweetheart theme Party? Try hearts and... you get the idea.

1. Start by knowing what kind of wine you plan to re-label. Measure the bottle’s original label and create yours with enough overlap to cover it. Some bottles come with a front and back label. Create two, or create one that reaches around the bottle covering both.

2. To make it look authentic, be sure to include the kind of information you see on the back label and substitute personal details where appropriate. A bar code is a fun touch. If the bottle doesn’t have one, copy one off a vegetable can. No one will know the difference!

3. Print your label on Avery full white 8.5” X 11” label sheets. They are made for Ink Jet Printers. Depending on the size of the original label on your bottle, you may be able to fit two of your labels on one sheet in a horizontal or landscape layout. Print the labels.

4. Before cutting them apart, find a spot on the page where there is no image. Separate the backing from the adhesive sheet. Cut off a small blank edge that will help you separate the two sheets, since it’s sometimes difficult to do this without damaging the image area after the labels are printed.
Don’t forget champagne bottles. Create labels for them too!
