CIFL PARTIES
Many of the projects featured on the domestic-divaonline.com site lend themselves to sharing with friends. Parties on this page include ideas for invitations and supplies needed.
NOTHING TO BUY / NO COMPANY REP
CIFL Parties are nothing like Tupperware or Pampered Chef parties where you invite your friends over to spend money they really can’t afford to part with. At a CIFL party no one is selling anything. You are the host, ready to share project ideas you find on this site. The information here will help you plan your party and provide you with downloadable templates.
THE CIFL JEWELRY MAKING PARTY
You can never have too much bling. Invite your friends for an afternoon of jewelry making using projects from our JEWELRY pages and suggestions you’ll find right here.
THEME CENTERPIECE
Build the party around a theme centerpiece. We used this doll jewelry holder, but anything will do, as long as you can display jewelry on it. Let it inspire your guests at the dinner or patio table or wherever you chose to work. Be sure there is enough room for everyone and their supplies.
YOUR GRADUATES
Before the party, print out certificates of completion for each guest and let no one leave without one. Personalize the certificates with their name, your name and the date. Click the image below to download the CIFL PARTY CERTIFICATE.
Below find samples of necklaces listed on the Suggestions Page.
SHARE YOUR PARTY
E-mail us photos and descriptions of your party.
You may find yourself and your friends on our website!
THE INVITATION
The jewelry party Invitation should be sent to guests along with the Suggestions page. Click the Invitation image below to download both.
SUGGESTIONS PAGE
Your guests may not have experience in jewelry making and may need ideas for what to bring. You can help by sending them the suggestions page. The information includes: what they should bring to the party - like their personal choice of beads and spacers, where to buy jewelry parts, and sample necklaces they can copy.
WHAT YOU PROVIDE
Supply each guest with a goodie bag to get them started. The bag should include small, inexpensive staples such as clasps, cord, crimp beads, and jump rings. You’ll find details of everything you need for each project, as well as instructions for each project on the JEWELRY pages. It is not necessary for each guest to have their own tools - pliers, crimp tools, knot makers, but you should. Since tools are primarily used at the beginning and end of the project, guests can easily take turns using yours.
LUNCH?
To start the party rolling, consider serving a simple lunch before the jewelry making session.
