FESTIVE HOLIDAY CANDLE HOLDERS
FESTIVE HOLIDAY CANDLE HOLDERS
During this season, budgets are strained and time is at a premium. Here’s an idea for quickly and inexpensively creating festive candle holders that will bring the feel of the holidays to your home.
We used clear cube vases rimmed with glittery, sheer holiday ribbon to create our candle holders. The cubes are 4” and the ribbon is 2.5” wide.
What You’ll Need
•2.5” holiday theme ribbon
•candle
•hot glue gun
•cube vase
Where We Bought It/What We Paid
ribbon - JoAnn’s
candle - JoAnn’s $3.00
cube vase - www.flowersandsupplies.com $3.00
Costs listed do not include everyday household items like glue, tools, or items costing less than $1.00 per project.
DIRECTIONS:
1.Cut your ribbon piece .25” longer than the measurement of your vase to allow for overlap. The overlap will be least noticeable on a corner edge
2.Hold the ribbon ends so that they fit snugly around the vase. Put tiny drops of glue from a glue gun along the line where the two ribbons meet. Hold in place until the glue cools.
3.Remove the ribbon after the holidays. The glue easily scrapes off the glass.
